Introduction: Ischemia and infarction lead to metabolic and electrophysiological changes that may cause silent and
symptomatic life-threatening arrhythmia. At least 75% of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) have an
arrhythmia during the peri-infarct period.
Aim: The aim of the present study is to study the development of arrhythmia in patient’s suffering from acute myocardial
infarction and their outcome.
