Background: Laryngoscopy and intubation are almost always associated with an increased
sympathetic activity. To attenuate the pressor response, various drugs have been tried. This
study aimed at finding out the different doses of clonidine in attenuating the hemodynamic
response to laryngoscopy and intubation in patients posted for any elective surgery under
general anaesthesia.
