Abstract

Background: Osteoporosis is a chronic, progressive, systemic condition of the 
skeletal tissue that is characterized by reduced bone density, microarchitecture 
deterioration, and fragile bones, making osteoporotic fractures or fragility fractures 
more likely to occur.
