Abstract

Background & Methods: The aim of the study is to study Transnasal sphenopalatine ganglion block for management of post dural puncture headache. Patients were informed about the use of numerical Rating scale (NRS) to assess the severity of pain with a score from 0 to 10. Results: The mean pain score (NRS) at preprocedure was 6.57 ± 0.94; immediately after procedure, it was 3.50 ± 1.09; after 1 hour, it was 1.79 ± 0.80; after 4 hours, it was 1.29 ± 0.61; after 8 hours, it was 1.36 ± 0.74; after 12 hours, it was 1.50 ± 0.65 and after 24 hours, it was 1.36 ± 0.49.
