Abstract

Introduction: The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is crucial for knee stability, with ACL injuries being
common in athletes. Traditional ACL reconstruction methods often use hamstring or patellar tendon
grafts, but the peroneus longus tendon offers a promising alternative with fewer complications and easier
harvesting.
