Abstract

Objectives: IFN- γ is a cytokine that is essential to the viral innate and adaptive immunity. MBL contributes to activation of the complement system lectin pathway in an antibodyindependent mechanism. The polymorphisms in these genes have been reported in several diseases. To evaluate the impact of IFN-γ, MBL polymorphisms in Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Iraqi patients.
