Abstract

Introduction: Imaging techniques in evaluating palpable breast masses is an initial point in multidisciplinary approach. Ultrasound is a cost-effective technique and is useful in the detection of breast masses as well as in the differentiation of masses seen on mammography as solid or cystic.
