Abstract

Central-venous-catheter-related blood stream infections (CRBSIs) are an important cause of hospital-acquired infection associated with morbidity, mortality. In modern medicine, the use of temporary intravascular catheters for vascular access and hemodynamic monitoring has become a central part in treating the patients.
