ANALYZING THE IMPACT OF BIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS AND HOMOCYSTEINE CONTENT LEVELS ON PATIENTS UNDERGOING HAEMODIALYSIS
DOI:

Background: Homocysteine levels are elevated in patients with renal disease, which causes
it to be excreted in urine. Raised homocysteine levels have been linked to renal illness; this
association may be explained by the possibility that elevated homocysteine causes renal
disease or by the relationship between homocysteine and Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR),
where only a tiny percentage of less than 1% is discharged.
