Abstract

Introduction: Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a cardiac disorder characterized by the 
dilation and impaired contraction of the left ventricle or both ventricles. It is a significant 
cause of heart failure and cardiac transplantation worldwide. 
Aims & Objectives: The aims and objectives of the study are: 
1. To evaluate cases of dilated cardiomyopathy by 2D-Echocardiogrpahy and identify 
various etiology factors. 
2.  To analyze the clinical profile of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy.
