Abstract

Background: Perforation Peritonitis is caused mostly by the perforation of a diseased viscus. 
Abdominal trauma, ingestion of a sharp foreign body, and iatrogenic perforation are additional 
causes of perforation. The diagnosis is mostly based on clinical findings.
