Abstract

Diabetes affects a large portion of the population in India; 101 million individuals, or 11.4%
of the total population, are believed to have the disease. Regardless of the length of their
illness or the type of treatment they are receiving, diabetic individuals on insulin therapy
frequently still exhibit inadequate glycaemic control. In order to achieve glycaemic control
and hence avoid complications from diabetes, proficient injection technique is essential.
