A study of Adverse events during anaesthesia at a tertiary teaching hospital in Maharashtra.

Abstract

Incident reporting systems are widely used in healthcare to analyze adverse events 
and have been shown to reduce patient harm. With data showing high anesthetic
related mortality in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC), such a system would 
allow more accurate identification of the size and type of events and could improve 
patient safety.
