Background: Despite significant advancement in molecular properties, intravascular
injection of iodinated contrast agents (CAs) is associated with the risk of contrast induced
nephropathy (CIN). Additionally, the incidence, risk factors, and outcome of CIN is variable
across the literature. Thus, the study assessed the incidence, risk factors, and outcome of CIN
following contrast enhanced computed tomography (CECT).
