Abstract

Background  :-Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) is conventionally performed under general anesthesia (GA), which provides 
a secured airway, controlled ventilation and predictable operating conditions during carbon-dioxide pneumoperitoneum. Spinal anesthesia (SA) has been evaluated as an alternative technique that may avoid tracheal instrumentation and improve early postoperative analgesia.
