Abstract

Background: Lower segment caesarean section (LSCS) is one of the most common surgical procedures done in obstetrics. The growing rate of caesarean sections globally, particularly in India, highlights the need for effective methods to assess the scar integrity. This study aims to compare the clinical findings (presence of scar tenderness) with radiological assessment (scar thickness) to predict intraoperative scar status in women with a history of previous LSCS.
