Outcome analysis of modified Ponseti in management of atypical and complex clubfoot

Abstract

Background & Methods: The aim of the study is to find out efficacy of modified Ponseti technique in management of atypical a complex clubfoot. Upon inclusion in the study, each patient underwent a thorough clinical examination, and a Pirani score was assigned to each foot at every visit. Clinical evaluation was followed by manipulation and casting according to the modified Ponseti technique on a weekly basis. Clinical improvement, as indicated by the Pirani score, and any complications were monitored and recorded.
