Abstract

Introduction– Liver cirrhosis is a condition characterised by widespread disruption of the liver's anatomical structure and function. Lipid metabolism mostly takes place in the hepatocytes. In cases of liver cirrhosis, it is common to observe aberrant lipid profiles and impaired hepatocyte activity.
