Background: Strangulation in domestic violence cases represents a severe form of intimate partner violence, often overlooked and under-reported, with potential fatal outcomes. Methods: This cross-sectional study analyzed 130 domestic violence cases involving strangulation over a three-year period from 2020 to 2023 in a metropolitan area. Data were collected from hospital records, police reports, and forensic examinations.
