Abstract

Background: An increasing trend of coronary artery disease (CAD) in young patients under 40 years of age has been noticed among the South Asian population in recent years, particularly in Indians but there is limited data on clinical and angiographic profiles in these patients. Methods: This is an observational study done on young (aged less than 40 yrs) thrombolysed STEMI patients presented to a Tertiary care Hospital. Clinical, Biochemical, and Angiographic data were analyzed. P<0.05 is considered as statistically significant and multivariate logistic regression analysis was done to determine the predictors of in-hospital outcomes.
