Abstract

This study, titled "A Comparative Study Between Epidural Butorphanol and Epidural Buprenorphine for Postoperative Pain Relief in Patients Undergoing Lower Abdominal and Lower Limb Surgeries," involved 100 ASA I and II patients aged 20-60 years. Ethical committee approval was obtained before starting the study. Patients were randomly divided into two groups: Group A (n=50) received 1 mg of Butorphanol tartrate, and Group B (n=50) received 300 mcg of Buprenorphine hydrochloride.
