Background Trauma cases, particularly those resulting from high-speed accidents, are becoming increasingly prevalent and contribute significantly to morbidity and mortality rates. The thoracic cage, despite its robust structure, is susceptible to injuries that can lead to severe consequences. Chest injuries account for a substantial portion of trauma-related deaths, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of their scope and management.
