Abstract

Background: Neonatal jaundice is a common condition affecting newborns worldwide, with potential long
term health implications. Previous studies have suggested a correlation between low birth weight (LBW) and
increased risk of neonatal jaundice, yet comprehensive analyses incorporating gestational age, maternal health,
and prenatal care remain limited.
