DOI:
https://doi.org/10.48047/Abstract
Introduction: The stomach is a crucial part of the digestive system, followed by the
duodenum, which is 25 cm long and divided into four segments. Duodenal diseases include
ulcers, inflammation, diverticula, tumors, polyps, and hookworm infections. Duodenal
perforations are life-threatening, with mortality rates of 8-25%. Surgery remains the primary
treatment for this common emergency.
