Abstract

Introduction:  Hypertension prevalence is increasing. 1%–3% of hypertensive patients experience 
hypertensive emergencies. Hypertensive emergencies are critical as it is associated with acute organ 
damage like stroke, acute heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, and acute aortic dissection.
