An Observational Study on Acute Appendicitis in all Age Groups in a Tertiary Care Centre

Background
Acute appendicitis is the most common abdominal emergency encountered in our tertiary care
center. The incidence of acute appendicitis was found to be more common in males than in females
with M:F ratio 3:2. Incidence of acute appendicitis was most common during the second decade
of life (35%)
