The pattern of Injuries in burn cases – An Autopsy Study at a tertiary care center in Eastern Maharashtra Region.

Abstract

Burn is one of the leading causes of death in India. Burn cases are one of the most common cases 
that autopsy surgeons encounter during the examination of a Medicolegal Autopsy. It is 
commonly seen in newly married women with suicidal, accidental, or homicidal intentions; 
hence, it has a social impact and is also of medicolegal importance for the agency investigating 
the crime.
