Evaluation of indirect causes of Maternal Mortality at Tertiary Care Center

Abstract

Background & Methods: The aim of the study is to evaluate of indirect causes of maternal 
mortality at tertiary care center. During the period of data collection, a total of 138 maternal 
mortality were recorded at the study institute; of these 88 were categorised as Direct Maternal 
Mortality and remaining 50 deaths were categorised as Indirect causes of Maternal mortality.
