Abstract

Background: N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) is a biomarker that
reflects ventricular wall stress and has been associated with prognosis in patients with acute
coronary syndromes. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between NT-proBNP
levels and short-term outcomes in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial
infarction (STEMI)
