Background
The distal triceps tendon is a tough, flexible tissue that attaches the triceps muscle atthe back of
the upper arm to the elbow bone. It helps triceps muscles to straighten the arm. The distal
triceps tendon attaches approximately 12.14mm distal to the olecranon tip, where it has a width
of approx. 40mm. The bony footprint is approx. 460mm2 with an average length of approx.
21mm & a width of 23mm. The caput longum & medial coverage distally & form the
