Nosebleeds, or epistaxis, are a frequent emergency in the ear, nose, and throat (ENT)
department.Epistaxis can arise from both local and systemic factors. Locally, bleeding can
occur within the nasal cavity, either in the anterior or posterior region. The most common
site of anterior epistaxis is Kiesselbach's plexus.Epistaxis management can be complex and
requires a thoughtful approach, with most cases being successfully treated through
conservative measures, while others may necessitate surgical intervention
