Abstract

Background: Dexmedetomidine is frequently used as an adjuvant analgesic in both intrathecal and intravenous infusions. Recently, the role of perineural dexmedetomidine has also been addressed. However, existing literature data is scarce concerning the issue. Aim: The present study aimed to assess the efficacy of intravenous Dexmedetomidine sedation to Perineural Dexmedetomidine on Supraclavicular Approach Brachial Plexus Block during upper limb orthopedic surgery.
