Abstract

Background & Methods: The aim of the study is to compare dexmedetomidine and dexmedetomidine in combination with ketamine for awake fiberoptic intubation in elective oral and dental surgery: A prospective randomized double blind control trial. Injection Ranitidine 150 mg and injection metoclopramide 10mg given iv 1hr before shifting. Anti-sialagogue glycopyrrolate 0.2mg Iv, administered 30 minutes prior to application of the local anesthetic to decrease the amount of secretions.
