Abstract

Background: Effective management of postoperative pain in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery is essential for recovery and patient satisfaction. The TAP block, using long-acting local anesthetics such as ropivacaine and levobupivacaine, presents a viable alternative to diminish dependence on systemic opioids.
