During any operative procedure incisions are made to reach the surgical site. Incisions are usually closed with the suture that can be continuous or interrupted type. Continuous sutures are usually inserted underneath the skin on the other hand interrupted sutures can involve the full skin thickness. Post surgery impaired wound healing can lead to poor cosmetic results as well as the post-surgical complications.
