.Abstract
Background Adenotonsillectomy surgery is a very common surgical procedure performed in the pediatric age group worldwide. To secure the airway for these surgeries, either orotracheal or nasotracheal intubation can be approached. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Methods ASA I and 2 children scheduled for elective adenotonsillectomy were included in the current study. Surgery was done under general anesthesia using nasal /oral intubation (Ring Adair Elwyn Tubes). Complications and ease of access to the operative field were assessed.
