Background: Focal liver lesions (FLLs) encompass a variety of pathological conditions, from benign tumors and cysts to malignant neoplasms. Accurate and early detection of FLLs is crucial for clinical management. Traditional imaging techniques like ultrasound, CT, and MRI provide limited diagnostic clarity, particularly in distinguishing benign from malignant lesions. In this context, shear wave elastography (SWE) has emerged as a promising non-invasive imaging modality, offering insights into liver tissue stiffness and potentially enhancing the diagnostic accuracy of FLLs.
