STUDY ON THE CONCENTRATION OF SERUM URIC ACID LEVEL AND ITS ASSOCIATION WITH GESTATIONAL DIABETES

Abstract

Background: The human body’s metabolic balance is crucial for health, with disruptions
leading to diseases like diabetes mellitus. Pregnancy heightens susceptibility to chronic
conditions due to hormonal and biochemical changes. Gestational diabetes is increasingly
common, especially in urban areas. This study focuses on assessing uric acid levels during
early pregnancy and their connection, to gestational diabetes. Aim And Objective: To study
the concentration of Serum Uric acid level and its association with Gestational diabetes.
