.Abstract
Class II division 2 malocclusion presents a unique challenge in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning due to its distinct dental and skeletal characteristics. Unlike other types of malocclusions, it is characterized by retroclined upper central incisors, deep overbite, and a Class II molar relationship, often accompanied by strong muscular patterns and reduced lower facial height.
