Background: Treatment options for AACE (acute acquired comitant esotropia) include the use of prisms, strabismus surgery, and/or injections of botulinum toxin, either alone or in combination. Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a botulinum toxin A injection in individuals suffering from acute acquired comitant esotropia (AACE).
