Abstract

Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium are key nosocomial pathogens, increasingly associated with vancomycin resistance and high-level gentamicin resistance (HLGR). This study investigated the prevalence and molecular characteristics of VRE and HLGR among clinical isolates. A prospective study was conducted from January to December 2024, including 320 Enterococcus isolates from various clinical samples.
