Platelet Indices (MPV and MPV-to-Lymphocyte Ratio) as Clinical Markers in Acute Coronary Syndrome: Insights from a Hospital-based Observational Study

Abstract

The role of platelet indices, such as mean platelet volume (MPV) and MPV-tolymphocyte ratio (MPVLR), in diagnosing, and predicting the severity, and fatality in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) has not been extensively studied, particularly in Indian patients. Therefore, the study aimed to investigate the clinical significance of MPV and  MPVLR in ACS.
