Abstract

Introduction: Laparoscopic surgery has become the standard procedure for many surgical pathologies. However, the physiological effects of pneumoperitoneum are of concern. The creation of pneumoperitoneum with carbon dioxide (CO2) produces unique haemodynamic challenge for the anaesthetic management of patients.
