Abstract

Background: Unplanned birth or unsafe abortions and maternal morbidity contribute to about 40% of pregnancies  worldwide. KAP of contraception among women of reproductive age is of atmost importance in populated countries like India to prevent unintended pregnancies and achieve optimal pregnancy outcome.
