Abstract

Background: Type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a major public health challenge globally and particularly in developing countries like
India. Adherence to antidiabetic medication is essential for achieving optimal glycemic control and preventing complications. However, medication adherence among rural populations remains suboptimal due to socioeconomic,  behavioral, and healthcare-related factors.
