Abstract

Background:Preterm birth is a leading cause of neonatal mortality, particularly in low- and middleincome countries. Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) is an evidence-based, cost-effective intervention that promotes skin-to-skin contact and exclusive breastfeeding, potentially improving neonatal outcomes.
