Abstract

BACKGROUND: Cardiorenal syndrome type 1 (CRS1) refers to the acute worsening of cardiac function leading to acute kidney injury (AKI) and is commonly seen after an acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or acute heart failure. It is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Understanding the clinical features and hemodynamic factors that predict CRS1 in ACS patients is crucial in developing accurate risk prediction tools and facilitating early, targeted clinical management.
