Abstract

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a major metabolic disorder characterized by chronic hyperglycemia resulting from impaired insulin secretion and insulin resistance. Despite the availability of effective pharmacological therapies, many patients continue to experience suboptimal glycemic control. Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum), a traditional medicinal plant, has gained attention due to its potential hypoglycemic properties.
