Abstract

Background: Acute heart failure (AHF) remains a major burden on healthcare facilities, particularly in tertiary care centres. Effective prognostic tools are important in such conditions. Arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, reflecting oxygenation, carbon dioxide levels, and acid-base status, may offer early insights into patient outcomes, yet its prognostic utility in AHF still remains underestimated
