Abstract

Background: Primary bone tumors comprise a heterogeneous group of lesions with variable biological behavior and overlapping radiological appearances. Imaging helps characterize tumor location, margins, matrix mineralization, cortical involvement and soft-tissue extension, whereas histopathology provides definitive tissue diagnosis.
